Before you order: facility readiness
- Choose the species and confirm its batch-specific fruiting requirements with the supplier.
- Check that cooling, humidity control, fresh-air supply and drainage can support your planned loading density.
- Measure conditions at crop level with suitable temperature, humidity and CO₂ instruments; record readings across the room.
- Plan rack spacing, cleaning access, water supply and separate handling space for suspect blocks.
- Match weekly loading and harvesting capacity to your sales plan before choosing a shipment size.
Before arrival: receiving checklist
- Confirm the delivery appointment, unloading equipment and suitable holding space.
- Keep the shipment reference, packing list and batch instructions available to your receiving team.
- Record the seal and film the opening before unloading; photograph pallet and block condition.
- Locate and retain the temperature logger, where supplied, and preserve its data.
- Report concerns promptly with batch details and records. Follow the supplied instructions before warming, opening bags or moving blocks into fruiting.
